"MyTetraCell Sweepstakes" Promotion Official Rules

The following Sweepstakes is intended for play in the United States, Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United Kingdom only. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not currently located in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. The MyTetraCell Points Program (the "Program") is open to individuals 21 years of age or older who are legal residents of the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada employed as a Life Scientist, who work in the life sciences field as a primary occupation, or who are currently enrolled as a student in a life sciences program. "Life Sciences" includes biology, physiology, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology and other related fields. The Program is not open to the general public. Proof of eligibility may be required. Void outside of the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada and where prohibited. Employees of Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. ("Sponsor") and its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, promotion and advertising agencies and agents are NOT eligible to participate. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. Many employers have specific restrictions on participating in loyalty programs such as this one. Please contact your local employer for details and your allowed levels of participation.

2. The Sweepstakes begins on 2/17/08 at 12:01:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on 6/30/08 (the "Promotion Period").

3. To participate in the sweepstakes, visit mytetracell.com during the Promotion Period and provide all required registration information, including your name, address, e-mail, title/occupation, and phone number. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. on 6/30/08 to be eligible for the drawing. Limit one entry per person or e-mail address. Automated methods of entry are prohibited.

4. Drawing/Prizes: A random drawing will be conducted on or about 7/7/08 by Sponsor whose decisions shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, to award the following prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: an iPod touch (16 GB) and Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Speakers, Approximate RetailValue ("ARV"): $998.95. Three (3) First Prizes: an 8 GB iPod Nano, ARV $199/each. Five (5) Second Prizes: a 1 GB iPod Shuffle, ARV $79/each. iPod is a trademark of Apple, Inc., which is not affiliated with this promotion. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,990.95. All prize values are stated in U.S. dollars as of the publication of these official rules. Prizes are nontransferable. No prize substitutions allowed except as provided herein. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible participants. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes prize per person. No third party or bulk entries. Canadian residents will be required to correctly answer a timed mathematical skill question as a condition of receiving a Sweepstakes prize.

Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permissible, a Publicity Release, within fourteen (14) days of initial notification and receipt of the Affidavit/Declaration. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of prize. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor and those acting under the Sponsor's authority may use winner’s name, pictures/portraits-likenesses and/or voices, for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in commerce and in all media worldwide without limitation or additional compensation. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be selected. The prizes will be shipped to the winners within twenty-eight [28] days after Sponsor's receipt of completed Affidavit/Declaration.

5. Neither Sponsor nor its agents are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Promotion. Neither Sponsor nor its agents are responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this Promotion and randomly award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Sponsor or its agents, should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the game. Neither Sponsor nor its agents are responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his or her Promotion entries) who tampers with the entry process. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By entering, participants agree, and by accepting prize, winners agree to release Sponsor, its franchisees, and their respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, sales representatives, contractors, and advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for any injuries, save for personal injury or death caused by negligence losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Contra Costa, California.

6. For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by 7/30/08 to: Bio-Rad Laboratories, 2000 Alfred Nobel Drive, Hercules, CA 94549. Canadian residents may omit return postage.
